Yuichi Toyama began his career as an eyewear designer and manufacturer in Fukui Japan in 1993. The brand name YUICHI TOYAMA was launched in 2017. The brand concept is listed as "an experiment in pure design and structural aesthetics. Uninfluenced by trends neither fashion, YUICHI TOYAMA expresses distinctive and unique eyewear."
